Terms of Service
By using GitLeads you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Last updated: April 2026
1. Service Description
GitLeads ("the Service", "we", "us") is a GitHub signal and lead-generation platform. We index publicly available GitHub activity — repository stars, forks, issue comments, pull request activity — and deliver those signals to your connected sales tools and workflows.
GitLeads is a signal source. We do not send emails, make calls, or contact leads on your behalf. All outbound communication remains your responsibility.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to spam, harass, or bulk-contact GitHub users without consent
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw lead data obtained from the Service
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape the GitLeads API, or reverse-engineer the platform
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates GitHub's Terms of Service
- Use the Service to collect data on individuals in a way that violates applicable privacy law
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@gitleads.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Billing and Refunds
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are listed on the pricing page.
Cancellation — You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
Refunds — Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of charge for first-time subscribers. Contact hello@gitleads.app.
Price changes — We will give 30 days' notice of price increases via email before your next renewal.
6. Intellectual Property
GitLeads retains all intellectual property rights in the Service, including the platform, brand, and algorithms. You retain ownership of any data you bring to the Service (e.g., your ICP criteria, integration configurations).
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, including violations of the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination, you lose access to the Service and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that lead data is accurate, complete, or current. GitHub is a third-party platform; we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to GitHub data. Signal delivery times are best efforts.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GitLeads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the JAMS rules, except either party may seek injunctive relief in court.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
